Are planning a wedding?? Here are my wedding day musts!
Whether you are a bride, bridesmaid or a mother of a bride. This list will help the day go smoothly
Plan a Timeline: Create a detailed schedule for the day to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Stay Hydrated and Eat: Remember to drink water and have a light meal to keep your energy up.
Emergency Kit: Prepare a kit with essentials like safety pins, makeup for touch-ups, and snacks.
Delegate Responsibilities: Assign tasks to trusted friends or family to help manage the day.
Check the Weather: Have a backup plan in case of inclement weather, especially for outdoor ceremonies.
Confirm Vendor Arrangements: Double-check with all vendors a few days before the wedding to confirm details.
Enjoy the Moment: Take time to soak in the day and enjoy the experience with your partner.
Capture Memories: Consider hiring a professional photographer and videographer to document the day.
Plan for Post-Ceremony: Have a plan for how you'll transition from the ceremony to the reception.
Communicate with Your Officiant: Ensure they are aware of your preferences and any special rituals you want to include.
prep your skin! Details below ;)
As your makeup artist, we are here to keep the day light and bring a sense of calm. So make sure you have all of your big responsibilities delegated by the time you sit in our chair. Once you sit down, it's pamper time! The moment you've been waiting for is about to happen. So, sit back and relax!
Prepping your skin beforehand is vital! And by beforehand I do mean weeks and months in advance. As much as I like to think I am a magician, makeup can only do so much... Makeup hides imperfections but not texture!!! This means that regular exfoliation and hydration will extremely impact how your makeup will last throughout your wedding day and how smooth it looks. I highly recommend investing in monthly HydraFacial from your local Sephora or esthetician, daily exfoliators such as Dr. Dennis Gross peel pads, and a perfect moisturizer fit for your skin. But please be aware! There is such a thing as doing too much. Please do not over exfoliate your skin. Trust me. Your skin will thank me later.
Now what are your waiting for?? Skin care is calling!
